SAIC is seeking a highly motivated, forward thinking Training Analyst to support the United States Marine Corps in Hanahan, SC. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to primarily develop curriculum and conduct New Equipment Training (NET) as well as be able to provide technical support for the current and future Blue Force Tracker (BFT) System.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update a variety of training products such as Student Guides, PowerPoint slides and Instructor Guides/Lesson Plans.
Course delivery by formal lecture and lab exercises utilizing actual systems configured for a training environment.
Assess or test participants on learning objectives. Instructors will also perform post-event follow-up activities such as documenting on site user training statistics and lessons learned related to the training.
Ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting as well as supporting system configuration, operational checks, integration and fielding.
Forward thinker with the ability to research future system components and capabilities.
Note. This position requires limited supervision with limited instructions needed on routine work and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments. Contacts are frequent with individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department of which may be a sensitive nature.
Travel:
Up to 10%. Individual will be required to support NET events as required at CONUS and OCONUS locations, primarily at Marine Corps establishments.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required Experience:
Curriculum development including creation of products such as Student Guides, PowerPoint slides and Instructor Guides/Lesson Plans.
Formal delivery of content as an Instructor via formal lectures and presentations.
Security Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Preferences:
Military Training Certification and Familiarity with the ADDIE process for course curriculum.
Formal/informal training background in a military environment.
