SAIC is seeking qualified applicants to support a cutting-edge data, analytics, and AI platform. Roles include managing customer relationships, service portfolio and catalog management, software engineering & development, data/AI engineering, IT systems operations, and use case intake and analytics for DoW enterprise-scale mission objectives expected in Spring/Summer 2026.  

Positions are contingent pending contract award.

A majority of the opportunities are in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area (WDCMA). Some work may be performed remotely, subject to Government approval.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the technical writing team in developing, maintaining, and updating key program documentation, including the Project Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, and Operations Plans.  
  • Develop and maintain the Customer Success Operations Plan (CSOP), Cybersecurity Operations Plan (CYP), and all supporting documentation.  
  • Partner with Government stakeholders to define, establish, and maintain service levels for major WDP services.  
  • Draft, edit, and publish technical documents such as:
    • Equipment manuals
    • SOPs
    • Operational instructions
    • Appendices
    • User-facing materials
  • Support updates to the Software Engineering Plan (SWP).
  • Maintain and organize documentation within the WDP Knowledge Management system, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with program updates.  
  • Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation and assist with layout or formatting as needed.
  • May assist in layout work. 

Qualifications


Education and Experience: Bachelors & 5+ years of related experience, Masters & 3+ years of experience, or PhD with 1 year experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in technical writing, editing, and publication of complex documents.  
  • Ability to lead and oversee teams producing technical documentation.  
  • Skill in developing and maintaining program documentation (PMP, QMP, Operations Plans, CSOP, CYP).  
  • Knowledge of documentation standards, version control, and configuration management.  
  • Skill in organizing, maintaining, and governing large-scale documentation repositories.  
  • Ability to present technical information clearly for diverse audiences.  
  • Capability to assist with formatting, structure, and layout of technical documents.
