SAIC's Talent Acquisition organization is looking for anOperations Specialist who will be instrumental in helping to oversee and maintain various recruiting operations initiatives, including our referral program and other aspects of recruiting support. The Operations Specialist will play a critical role in streamlining and optimizing our recruitment processes to attract and hire top talent. Additionally, the Operations Specialist will collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient candidate experience.
The ideal individual for this position will be self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented, outgoing, and prepared to professionally interact with others on behalf of the company. This is an excellent opportunity with a growing company, where you will provide front-line support to develop and implement recruiting initiatives that will serve as a baseline for continued growth. For the right candidate, this position may be remote anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:
- In partnership with the recruiting operations managers, develop and grow various recruiting initiatives including SAIC's employee referral program and related efforts (both internally and externally)
- Provide process improvement recommendations and planning in support of the Talent Acquisition team
- Provide TA process and policy guidance to the TA team
- Change management
- Partner with TA LT consistently to carry out business objectives and be a face to recruiting team
- Manage the SAIC referral program, including bi-weekly referral and payout reports, monitoring and responding to the referral mailbox; developing and executing communication activities
- Management of recruiter job board licenses, team roster
- Manage various talent acquisition mailboxes (internally and externally facing), ensuring prompt and consistent responses to employees and candidates
- Other projects and duties, as required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
- Have a bachelor's degree in a business-related field. An additional 4+ years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Have 6+ months of experience working in a professional environment, including talent acquisition and/or human resources experience.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced computer skills.
- Have the ability to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects.
- Act with a sense of urgency and have the ability to shift focus as priorities require.
- Have the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal staff and others.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Desired:
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems is desired.
