Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team! This position is located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides systems engineering (SE) support services as part of the Architecture & Engineering team. 
• Responsible for architecting, engineering, developing, implementing, integrating, deploying, and sustaining systems to meet business and mission requirements.
• Conducts engineering studies, requirements engineering, design engineering, implementation/integration, and test/evaluation.
• Develops and maintains SE documentation and artifacts (needs assessments, project plans, SEMP, configuration management plans, CONOPs, requirements/design specifications, integration/test plans, deployment/validation documents, O&M plans). 
• Supports performance analysis, problem identification, root cause analysis, and strategic solution development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
