SAIC is seeking an astute candidate to support senior customers with a variety of activities related to budget and finance. The position requires someone that has experience with the CBJB/IPOM process to help with annual program builds. Day-to-day support involves managing budgets, tracking and reporting on key metrics such as commitments, obligations and expenses, running financial reports from the customer's system, and overseeing a travel budget. The position requires someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to create high quality products.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 + years of experience
  • Run financial reports on group projects to track and report on the status of commitments, obligations and expenditures
  • Experience creating CBJB/IPBS products used for annual budget builds. Must understand the language used to develop these products and be able to draft language for customer approval
  • Update pivot tables with budget information and report to the cognizant customer managers
  • Fully understand and manage the customer's program plan to include capturing and updating the spend plan as changes occur (e.g. tradespace discussions, office-level “taxes” levied on the group, etc.) to provide checks and balances for the customer group
  •  Work with mid-level customer managers to take changes to their budget plans and update them in the customer's budget tool where this information is tracked
    • Create and maintain the group budget, WBS structure for projects, budget line items, etc. in the customer's budget tool
  • Track and report on the customer's travel budget to ensure it is not overspent
  • Collaborate with the budget and plans teams in sister groups within the office
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to drive awareness and education on financial matters within the group
