SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

• Performs high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and servers. 
• Coordinates, directs and performs complex software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. 
• Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. 
• Continually monitors and tunes multiple systems to achieve optimum performance levels. 
• Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities. 
• Ensure systems and workstations are baselined and follow a congruent security policy. 
• Maintains Identity and access management in Active Directory. 
• Provides day to day user and help desk support, and over-the-shoulder user training on automation systems and services in support of experiments and events. 

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree
 

Qualifications:

Experience with US Army Mission Command Systems (JBC-P, TAK/WINTAK) and familiarity with virtualized environments (Hyper-V, VMware).

Clearance:

Candidate must have an active Secret clearance.
