SAIC is seeking a System Administrator who will be responsible for providing a combination of desktop and server support for our client in Washington DC.
The candidate will be part of a team responsible for supporting Windows Server 2012R2 and Server 2016 servers hosted on site. Server support includes applying updates, applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), performing configuration changes and routine backups.
Supported applications include Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft IIS, McAfee, as well as various code analysis and test tools.
The candidate will configure the servers according to user requirements and documented best practices. The servers will be monitored on a regular basis to ensure the systems are compliant with DoD and Army policies and regulations. This includes reviewing audit logs and checking for intrusion attempts.
Needs to be available to work late shifts as needed.
• Bachelors and two years of experience or equivalent experience and education
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Microsoft Certification (MCSA)
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
