SAIC is hiring a Software Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
Job Duties:
- Support complete software development lifecycle for testing of the AMCS OE
- Perform Systems and Software Integration
- Produce software test documentation for inclusion in an STP and STD sufficient to support airworthiness certification
- Analyze system, software, and hardware specifications and interface documents to support transition of IDM to AMCS.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and two (2) years of relevant experience; Masters degree and zero (0) years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Security Clearance:
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Microsoft Visual Studio
- Full Software Development Lifecycle to include developing software component design, implementation, and unit test artifacts
- Less than 10% Travel should be expected
- Ability to work under a deadline
- Strong desire to continually learn and improve
- Proficient in MS Office
Desired Skills:
- Embedded systems software test
- Experience writing Perl and Bash shell scripts
- Highly desired, previous knowledge of IDM system or software
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Subversion, GIT, JIRA and Bitbucket
- General knowledge of embedded systems
- Experience with multicore SW projects
