SAIC is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with specialized focus on Discovery and Integrations, to join our team supporting the Department of Transportation (DOT)

Duties:

  • Perform SMS development activities and be proficient in applying the SDLC and DevOps principles
  • Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow
  • ITSM application suite, and in identified specialty(ies)
  • Perform response and resolution for SMS

Job Role:

  • Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow ITSM application suite, and in identified specialty(ies).
  • Responsible for the design of the DOT Service Management System (SMS) and supporting the SMS operations, to include engineers and the SMS development life cycle.
  • Determine which integration method(s) will be used, integration directionality, and attributes.
  • Participate in any data normalization required prior to being imported / inserted into ServiceNow.
  • Participate in platform, process, and integration testing.
  • Develop and maintain Discovery schedules, pattern usage and the role of other integrations.
  • Fulfill role of Enterprise Integration Manager.
  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
  • Deliver new functionality across applications.
  • Manage and perform SMS development activities, supporting the entire development lifecycle.
  • Apply SDLC and DevOps principles.
  • Perform response and resolution for escalated SMS service requests and incidents.
  • Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution.
  • Participate in on-call rotation providing support during non-business hours (nights, weekends, holidays). Shift includes: Rotating On Call

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • 12+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 6 in administration services for a major Service Management System (SMS), preferably ServiceNow.
  • Candidate must be proficient with Discovery and Integrations.
  • Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery (CIS-Disco) Certification is required
  • Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and the ability to obtain a public trust.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
  • Experience with the SNMP technologies that support Discovery Patterns.
  • Experience with SOAP/REST-based API integrations.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
