The Vanguard 2.2.1 program currently has an opening for a SCCM Engineer.  This position will support the Enterprise Management Systems Tools team for the Department of State (DoS) Bureau of Information Resource Management (IRM).

Description of Duties: 

The candidate must be able to perform general IT systems engineering activities which include:

• Maintain secure endpoints which includes but is not limited to implementing SCCM/MECM compliance policies and Windows Credential Manager.
• Maintain the health of the SCCM/MECM environment as well as upgrade to the latest build.
• Design, develop, and deploy Windows 10 upgrade solutions using SCCM.
• Provide architectural expertise to ensure that solutions are aligned with IT standards and best practices.
• Maintain End User standards and best practices for process/procedures and technical standards. 

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; May accept additional experience in lieu of degree.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology management with focus on SCCM, Intune, Imaging, Packaging, Software Distribution
• VBScript of Powershell scripting experience.
• Desktop and application troubleshooting experience
• Microsoft Server patching
• MECM administration experience

Required Clearance:

• US Citizenship.
• Active Top  Secret clearance

 

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
