SAIC is seeking an Engineering Tech IV to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position requires the management of threat devices including inventory management, device troubleshooting and repair, as well as validation and verification of repairs throughout their test life cycle.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will require the use of 3D printer work to aid in the use and repair of threat devices.
- Employee will be responsible for testing layout including setup and tear down of device track, support generators, cell towers, connection, and management of devices on the network.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Mechanical and electrical background
- Electronic PIC programming/coding knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic devices and recommend/execute toward a resolution of issues.
- Familiar with the use of an oscilloscope
- Able to work outdoors and perform basic lifting and assembly actions.
- Able to function in a team environment as well as focus on individual assignments.
- Must be able to travel at times.
- 7711/7721 solder certification
- Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
- US Citizenship
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Familiarity with radios, drones, cellphones
- Forklift certification and MRAP license
