SAIC is looking a Program Manager tosupport the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Program Manager at SAIC, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of our defense programs.
NOTE: This is a hybrid remote position requiring the candidate to be in office approximately 3 days a week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Program Coordination: Plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects, ensuring they meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with government clients, internal teams, and senior management to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Compliance: Ensure all program activities comply with relevant defense regulations and standards, including ITAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program activities to ensure project success.
- Resource Allocation: Manage program resources effectively, ensuring the necessary personnel, budget, and materials are available.
- Performance Monitoring: Track program performance using appropriate tools and methodologies to ensure objectives are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Reporting: Prepare and present program status reports to stakeholders, ensuring clear and transparent communication of progress.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance program management processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, preferably within the defense industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of defense industry standards, regulations, and contracting procedures.
- Interim secret clearance with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
