We are seeking a skilled highly motivated Program Analyst to provide support services for our NSWC Crane Power and Energy customer. In this role, you will be supporting program management activities across multiple projects, with a focus on cost, schedule, and performance management. This role demands strong business and programmatic acumen, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel—and a commitment to delivering actionable insights that drive organizational success. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, monitor project progress, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and federal regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, preparing financial summaries, and supporting decision-making processes within the program management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- For programmatic support, responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, monitoring deliverables, and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- For data analytics, responsibilities include utilizing advanced Excel skills, performing detailed analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial data including compiling, validating, and interpreting data to identify trends and inform decision-making, and developing dashboards and reports to visualize program status and performance.
- For financial and budget support, responsibilities include conducting trend analysis, tracking expenditures, and supporting forecasting and financial modeling efforts, and thus, providing recommendations to optimize resource allocation and improve financial outcomes.
- For program documentation and schedules, responsibilities include preparing program documentation and schedules, maintaining project files, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date, and maintaining project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- For risk management, responsibilities include facilitating lessons learned sessions, updating risk registers, and recommending actions to minimize potential impacts on program objectives.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Have an Active or the ability to receive an Interim Secret Clearance.
- Experience supporting government contracts, preferably Navy contracts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
