SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst / Director's Action Group Administrator to join our Chantilly, VA based team in supporting the National Reconnaissance Office Electro-Optical System Program Office (NRO/ESPO). This position requires the applicant to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting our NRO Government customer execute their duties and responsibilities. The candidate will assist the Program Office Chief-of-Staff in managing their Director's Action Group (DAG) responsibilities, preparing the Weekly Activity Report (WAR), and preparing for Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work in an interactive team environment with Government customer leads, satellite developers, and other subject matter experts.
- Manage the Program Office Director's Action Group (DAG).
- Manage Actions assigned to the Program Office using the Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) action tracking system. Gather information, draft, coordinate, and submit Action responses as appropriate.
- Assign TIER actions and monitor progress for those actions requiring input from other satellite engineers.
- Proofread action responses and coordinate as appropriate.
- Manage action completion to maximize responsiveness and minimize requests for extensions.
- Provide direct support to the Chief-of-Staff and assist in managing the ESPO Front Office.
- Provide senior executive level staff support to leads/division chiefs for assigned actions.
- Report on action item status at the appropriate meetings.
- Take inputs provided by the team and prepare, coordinate, and submit the ESPO Weekly Activity Report (WAR).
- Manage and coordinate updates, deadlines, and obtain top-level customer approval for Quarterly Congressional and Program Review briefing packages.
- Schedule, coordinate, provide logistical support for, and help prepare award presentations for All-Hand events and program management reviews.
- Act as backup support to the Chief of Staff support team by assisting with document management and facilitating staff meetings.
- Travel in support of Customer meetings is estimated at approximately 10% of scheduled work hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 5 years of experience providing program analyst-type support to senior Government officials.
- Experience using MS Office applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using the NRO customer's TIER action item tracking system.
