SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Logistics / Project Analyst to support operations and project management of the Specialized Munitions Engineering Branch at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Collaborating with other professionals to solve challenging problems and participate in the development of sound solutions for the nation's security supporting our frontline warfighters. The selected individual will operate in a capacity of service responsible for assisting the government developmental acquisition team in organization and contributing to various projects and tasks. Including though not limited to aspects of time and schedule management process, logistical coordination between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring proper receipt of requirements from stakeholders, and overall data management. All while having the opportunity to build and maintain strategic relationships with various customers, sponsors, and related industry partners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support customers and sponsoring organizations in engineering, project management, technical acquisitions support, configuration management, logistics, and related tasks, as required to support and ensure details are accurately prepared and documented for customers' mission success.
Review and edit, for accuracy, a variety of project documents including required support documentation, i.e. applicable forms, technical requirements, deliverable details, test or performance data, meeting notes, etc.
Work with key customer personnel and sponsors to ensure the coordination and flow of information such as schedule and milestones are being tracked and provided to the various stakeholders.
Assist customers to develop, initiate, integrate, and manage logistical actions associated with the life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement actions.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years or more of related experience; a High School or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and additional years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and an unrelenting desire to learn and improve.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey information effectively to a variety of audiences in oral or written formats.
Self-Starter capable of contributing both individually and with others in a collaborative team. With a demonstrated ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Capable in assessing project issues and helping to develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Must be proficient with computers and have experience with Microsoft suite of software tools (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Must hold or be able to obtain a DoD secret clearance; can start once interim clearance is obtained.
US Citizenship
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in military or defense logistics.
Familiarity with government acquisitions.
Experience with Navy ERP and other database systems.
