SAIC is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to support the Specialized Munitions Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane

In this role, you will apply your expertise in logistics, program management, schedule coordination, and stakeholder collaboration to drive mission success for our Government Division customers and its sponsors. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with customers, and other stakeholders to facilitate deliverable success, including but not limited to event coordination, technical document review and processing, quality management, facilities, security, and other related operational tasks.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for briefings, reviews, and conferences, managing schedules, materials, and coordination of the requirements to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop and or  improve logistical processes, ensuring efficient delivery of information, products, and services between contractor team members, government representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with documentation and process improvement efforts, leveraging data to identify and recommend opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure deliverables meet established Navy and DoD standards, including document formatting, serial number assignment, and compliance adherence.
  • Facilitate technical data management tasks and generate accurate, quality-controlled technical reports, correspondence, and materials.
  • Proactively coordinate meetings and agendas, document key action items, track progress, and communicate milestones.
  • Support inactivation and disposal of logistics for division materials, coordinating inventory, documentation, and disposition services through Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) processes.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in logistics planning, stakeholder engagement, or schedule/data management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration across teams.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, adapt, and thrive in dynamic environments where priorities may shift.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

 

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with munitions logistics or an understanding of DoD logistics policies such as SECNAV, NAVSEA, or NOSSA instructions.
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar tools for data tracking and configuration management.
  • Possession of an active DoD Security Clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience OR High School diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience in acquisitions, logistics, project/program management, or a related field.
