SAIC is seeking a DRRS LMS Training Analyst to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. 

The Air Force DRRS LMS Training Analyst provides critical operational, analytical, and technical support required to maintain and enhance the eLearning portfolio for Air Force DRRS training. This role ensures the accuracy, currency, and usability of all training products by managing Learning Management System (LMS) operations, analyzing learner feedback, coordinating updates, and providing day-to-day support to the LMS Manager. By managing the operational workload, the LMS Training Analyst enables the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Training and LMS Lead to focus on higher-value areas, such as instructional design, SME development, and strategic modernization efforts.
This position plays an integral role in supporting the Air Force's readiness reporting ecosystem through effective management of training content and learner data. The role directly enhances the Air Force's alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force readiness reporting policies, such as DoD Instruction 7730.66, Air Force Instruction 10-201, and CJCSI 3401.02B.
 

Primary Responsibilities

Training Feedback and Data Analytics:

  • Collect and analyze feedback from live, virtual, and web-based training sessions to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and areas of confusion.
  • Prepare actionable data summaries, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making for Training Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Track recurring issues and learner performance metrics to inform data-driven improvements to training materials.


Learning Management System (LMS) Operations:      

  • Upload, test, publish, and monitor Air Force DRRS web-based training (WBT) courses on the LMS platform, ensuring content is functional, accessible, and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Maintain version control, update documentation and logs, and ensure accuracy and traceability of training materials.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical issues and ensure system functionality and compliance.


Course Maintenance and Continuous Improvement:
 

  • Develop and implement updates to training content based on SME input, learner feedback, and data analysis using tools like Articulate.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure all updates and new modules meet functional, technical, and instructional requirements.
  • Maintain version management schedules and ensure training content aligns with evolving Air Force DRRS policies and requirements.
     

Operational and Administrative Support:
 

  • Coordinate schedules, timelines, and communications with instructors, SMEs, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project deliverables and dependencies, providing updates to Training Leads and leadership throughout the lifecycle of training initiatives.
  • Organize and maintain repositories of training materials, feedback data, and analytics to ensure efficient access and collaboration.
  • Support reporting efforts by preparing summaries of training effectiveness, learner performance, and key system updates for leadership review.

Qualifications

Required Education: 

  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD or JD and zero (0) years experience. 

 

Required Qualifications
 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret learner feedback, survey data, and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles, training development workflows, and tools like Articulate or comparable platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms, including course publishing, testing, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills for working with SMEs and stakeholders.
     

Desired Qualifications
 

  • Prior Air Force or military experience with exposure to readiness training or reporting systems.
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Articulate and advanced Excel functionalities).
  • Knowledge of Department of the Air Force E-Learning workflows and learning analytics.
  • Proven ability to support or develop reports, audits, or assessments based on learner and training data.
  • Proximity to Pentagon with the ability to work on-site NLT 3-days a week.

 

Required Clearance:

  • Candidate must have an active Secret clearance
