SAIC is seeking a Junior Multimedia Developer to design and program interactive eLearning training materials, such as animations and graphics.
NOTE: This position is a Fully Remote / Work from Home position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist in designing and developing interactive eLearning products, including Web-Based Training (WBT) and Computer-Based Training (CBT) courses, for government and commercial clients.
- Create graphic designs, illustrations, animations, and interactive exercises to enhance engagement and support learning objectives.
- Perform programming tasks to build course navigation, interactivity, and functionality, ensuring seamless deployment within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Collaborate with team members, customers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to align training content with client needs and goals.
- Stay updated on new eLearning tools and technologies to integrate modern solutions into training products.
- Manage projects by prioritizing tasks, adhering to deadlines, ensuring attention to detail, and contribute effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and zero (0) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Familiar with programming tasks using JavaScript, XML and/or JSON, and HTML/HTML5.
- Experience creating interactive multimedia content including animation and interactive exercises through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Basic graphic design and illustration skills using Photoshop and vector-based graphics software (such as Adobe Illustrator).
- A portfolio showcasing your work is required (an online portfolio is encouraged, but not mandatory). Academic or personal projects may be included.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- No clearance required to start but must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; SAIC will help to obtain.
- Must be a current US Citizen.
