  • SAIC has a new opportunity for an Operations Support Specialist in Aurora, CO to work within the Intelligence Community on complex intelligence projects crucial to our national security objectives. Qualified candidates must possess a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • The position requires an individual with mission area experience and extensive experience.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills.
  • The candidate will be expected to continually balance and adjust work priorities to meet short term work suspense and rapidly evolving customer needs in coordination with mission partners.
  • Specialized Experience: Must possess a strong base of experience and depth of skills in intelligence systems and tools
  • Oversees and contributes to the intelligence analysis, intelligence support, and production of intelligence products for ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management, mission partners and the intelligence community.
  • Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Site Commander and the senior leadership as well. May focus on domestic as well as international threats. Considered to be a recognized authority in this area of expertise. Intelligence analysis includes multi-int product formulation and presents analysis or products to customers.
  • Analyze and comment on prioritized intelligence, describing the significance of each item and shall deliver this analysis in the form of written reports, briefing slides, intelligence products and/or oral presentations to senior leaders and decision makers.
  • Review open source information and classified intelligence, furnished by the Government, concerning designated functional or regional areas.
  • Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support national interests and Intelligence Community senior leadership as well. Considered to be a recognized authority in this area of expertise.
  • As requested, deliver intelligence briefings and respond in detail to leadership questions arising from the briefings.

Qualifications

  • Clearance required to start: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Clearance required to remain on the program: TS/ SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in electronic, electrical, computer engineering, related STEM discipline, or equivalent military training from National Cryptologic School.
  • Ten (10) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other analytic related field; Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of and direct experience with DoD all-source analysis, processes, tools, procedures and techniques.
  • In-depth experience in supporting military operations planning and analysis.
  • Experience with digital information and communications technologies, networking and systems analysis Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven knowledge of computer hardware/software and strong understanding of computer/ internet communications methods.
  • Extensive knowledge of ground station operations, the Intelligence Community, and intelligence fusion programs.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
