SAIC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to support Hardware in the Loop – Aviation (HWIL-A) to analyze, design, and develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction and Serious Games with levels of interactivity ranging from Levels 2-4 in accordance with the Army Virtual Learning Environment.
NOTE: This position is fully remote. Our team is based in Huntsville, AL.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Analyzing training needs and developing solutions to address them
- Providing consultation and recommendations to customers on innovative training solutions as well as on effective and relevant curriculum development
- Creating asynchronous and synchronous instruction designed for a distributed immersive learning environment
- Working with instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and multimedia developers to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate distributed learning solutions
- Creating storyboards, scripts, scenario-based instruction, and other advanced learning strategies to meet the needs of learners
- Providing expertise in the creation of processes, and implementation of distributed learning
- Performing the actual detailed development of course materials or courseware, as well as product testing, and maintenance
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's and three (3)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Knowledge and understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy
- Experience with curriculum design/development and learning solutions
- Experience collecting, compiling, analyzing and synthesizing learner/customer feedback
- Experience using Microsoft 365 suite applications
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- No clearance required to start, but must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
