SAIC is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support SAIC's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) FMS Team in Huntsville, AL.
The Helpdesk Support Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Provide web application support.
Provide systems administration support to cross-functional product development teams.
Prepare detailed systems administration plans and level of effort estimates for meeting product roadmap release requirements.
Detect, diagnose, isolate and correct web system operational failures.
Support Incident and Problem Management activities with web expertise and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years' experience; additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
Required Clearance:
Must possess an active Interim Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting web application issues, including browser compatibility, performance, and user access problems.
Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
Familiarity with common web browsers and their respective developer tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathize with end-users and provide clear, concise instructions and solutions.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed records of support incidents and resolutions.
