SAIC has an exciting opportunity for a Firewall Engineer to join our team and support HHS.

The Firewall Engineer will serve as a technical lead on our Cybersecurity and Infrastructure team.

In this role you will be a key member of our Infrastructure and SOC team. You will help to support security teams with incident resolution, maintain security tools.

Responsibilities:

·      Responsibilities include performing routine system maintenance, applying policy updates, and troubleshooting customer‑reported issues related to firewall or VPN functionality.

·      Duties include supporting teams with scan configuration and troubleshooting, ensuring systems are updated with the latest code versions, and coordinating with the vendor to address any technical issues.

·      Responsibilities include full lifecycle maintenance of the server, provisioning and troubleshooting RSA tokens, and ensuring that all users who require RSA access can authenticate securely and without interruption.

·      Responsibilities include assisting security teams with issue resolution, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the tool remains fully operational and aligned with program security requirements.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

·      Must have a Bachelors and 5 years of experience. May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

·      Must have prior experience supporting Palo Alto Firewalls and PRISMA VPN

·      Must have experience with NESSUS Scanners and NESSUS Agent Manager

·      Must have experience with RSA Authentication Manager

·      Must have at least 1 year of experience with Palo Alto
