SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst for support of the Federal Aviation Commission's (FAA) portfolio of programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating Investment Analysis documents, and thereby must demonstrate strong analytical skills in economic, statistical, accounting, and financial principles. Key responsibilities include performing computer-driven analyses of economic, statistical, accounting, and financial data to support the management of major system acquisitions. Additionally, the Business Analyst will manage program/project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, scheduling, and reporting, while preparing comprehensive cost-benefit and financial analyses. Participation in the FAA's Joint Resource Council (JRC) activities and navigating the acquisition process, including investment and cost analysis, may also be necessary.
This position is based in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in economic, statistical, accounting, and/or financial analysis related to procurement and major systems acquisitions. Experience in program/project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, scheduling, and reporting is essential, along with the ability to prepare and analyze cost-benefit analyses and financial documents, are desired.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree
5 – 20 years of relevant experience.
Works with minimal/Limited supervision as part of the program management team and analyzes business problems.
Possesses significant knowledge of programs, business, and production management issues.
Proficient in the use of computer hardware and software applications related to cost model creation, preparation and other automated data analysis systems.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
