Overview

SAIC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support advanced ArcGIS Enterprise deployments across diverse classified environments. You will lead architecture design, troubleshoot complex systems, and guide customer organizations in aligning mission objectives with enterprise geospatial capabilities. 

 

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure ArcGIS across varied operating systems, cloud environments, and security architectures.
• Plan and execute content migrations between enterprise ArcGIS deployments.
• Troubleshoot advanced system configurations involving networking, storage, and security.
• Partner with customers to identify, design, and validate mission‑critical GIS workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams to connect technical strategies with customer business needs. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI is required to be considered for this role.
• Willing and able to pass a polygraph.
• 8+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Experience designing/implementing enterprise ArcGIS or comparable IT systems.
• Administration experience on Windows and/or Linux.
• Proficiency in a scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking components (DNS, HTTPS, proxies, load‑balancing).
• Experience with one RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Bachelor's in CS, GIS, Math, or related STEM.

 

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM field.
• Esri, Microsoft, or AWS certifications.
• CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Portal, and related APIs.
• Cloud system operations experience. 

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
