Job Description :

Summary

The Vehicle Title Supervisor is to be the main contact for all Ryder Vehicle Sales (used truck sales, international sales and all US business units as it pertains to centralized pricing for over 23,000 vehicles annually, centralized processes and procedures for over 160,000 titles. The Pricing/Title Supervisor makes a wide variety of decisions necessary to provide consistent detailed reporting and tracking of sales results. The incumbent will be responsible for making critical decisions in meeting state requirements on title endorsing, title transfers while ensuring all sales tax credit requirements are met. Also, will be responsible for providing accurate pricing in order to maximize gains while following policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing all title processing functions. Duties include coordinating vehicle tracking to ensure regulatory timelines are met, title disposition, and administration. Develops and implements reporting tools for management to include vehicle tracking, monitoring vehicle aging, titling processes

• Responsible for day-to-day supervision and development of up to five Title Clerks.

• Responsible for the auditing of vehicle titles.

• Provides and lends support and guidance to field and management in area of policies and procedures as it pertains to titles.

• Provides management and field with vehicle titles to ensure the vehicles are disposed accurately meeting customer demands.

• Develop, implement, and manage systems to better serve management, field, and the vehicle sales sales-force on vehicle disposals process and title compliance.

• Closely work with State Agencies and local tag agency on title compliance. Renew and maintain all UTC Dealer License renewals in accordance with state regulations.

• Ensures that all policies and procedures are adhered to as per Sarbanes-Oxley. Work with internal auditors to ensure Vehicle Sales is Sarbanes Oxley compliant in pricing used vehicles.

• Provides weekly inventory reporting, surplus, end of month sales support to used Truck Centers, Export Sales Director and management.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Management of projects, reporting team progress against assigned tasks), and management of the team Share Point site and VP Library of completed projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field
  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Two (2) years or more project management required
  • Five (5) years or more Ryder experience preferred
  • One (1) year or more supervisory responsibilities - planning, scheduling, training, and onboarding experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel to manipulate data and graphs, advanced required
  • Knowledge of Internet Navigation, advanced required

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type :

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

$68,000.00

Maximum Pay Range:

$72,000.00
