About the Job:

Type: Full time/Permanent

Wage: $90,000 - $95,000 Annual Salary based on experience

Shifts: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintenance and repair of all building and power equipment in a Distribution Center. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of conveyors, schematics, forklifts, high-voltage electrical, motors, hydraulics, and general mechanics. This is a hands-on working position.

Essential Functions

  • Repair of all equipment, machinery, electrical and power systems, and building systems to insure uninterrupted services and operations.
  • Recommend and plan maintenance programs and work schedules to minimize equipment “down time.”
  • Install and repair equipment, and train employees on how to maintain machinery and perform trial run of machinery to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications.
  • Responsible for managing the maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing and electrical servicing to the facility.
  • Manage facility layout changes throughout the building, including setting up conveyors, racking, relocating machinery and equipment, etc.
  • Assures that safety and security measures are established and implemented.
  • Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, Required

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma/GED, Preferred
  • Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more in Industrial Maintenance, Required
  • Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more in Previous experience designing, implementing, and managing a preventative maintenance program., Required
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of schematics, battery maintenance, HVAC, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, D.C. Controllers, and A. C. Drives powered lift equipment. , Required
  • Should be familiar with and capable of adhering to Lockout / Tagout procedures. , Preferred
  • Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures of equipment , Required
  • Must be proficient at diagnosing repair needs and troubleshooting electrical circuitry and systems. , Required
  • Needs to have knowledge of forklift, order picker and reach truck repair, Required
  • Rapid and Conveyor Knowledge a plus, Preferred

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
