Job Description :

Summary:

The Application Delivery & Support Specialist is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of PC hardware and software. Coordinate hardware warranty repairs with the vendor as required. Interface with developers and vendors to resolve complex software problems. Provide support during employee relocation's and other projects as required. Ensures employees PC issues and requests are resolved as quickly as possible to minimize the downtime impact to Ryder's business. Provide initial analysis to any software issues the business experiences.

Essential Functions:

Provide production support as needed to business users

Work to understand the business areas and applications the team supports

Provide training to business end users

Create and maintain all necessary remedy tickets

Maintain clear and accurate clarity information related to tickets

Work with development teams to understand and ensure requirements are met

Creates test cases (realistic business situations) and performs functional testing to ensure business requirements are met

Maintains and reports on issues identified during testing assignments

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

One to Two (1-2) years or more Scale WMS experience

One (1) year or more of Node JS and JavaScript programming experience

Strong verbal communication and listening skills

Skills and Abilities:

Perform end user system support. Communication with end users for majority of work time

Understand role and pro actively guide own daily work within that role

Work with operation group to understand their requirements, issues or opportunities and assist in ways to change the system to address them

Performs work independently with minimal supervision

Customer service skills

Problem solving skills

Initial triage and analysis of issues identified by end users

Demonstrates analytical skills

PC and troubleshooting knowledge and skills (Expert level)

Warehousing activities (intermediate level)

SQL server skills (intermediate level)

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type :

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

$60,000.00 CAD

Maximum Pay Range:

$70,000.00 CAD
