Qualifications:
Required:
+ BSN degree from an accredited school
+ Minimum of 2 3 years experience in a hospital setting
+ Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ Proficient computer Skills
+ Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Certifications and Licenses Required:
+ Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
+ BLS from the American Heart Association
+ Certification as required by law, stature, and or regulation of area or specialization
Scheduling Requirements:
+ Day Shift, 40 hours a week
+ Monday Friday
+ Full Time
Essential Functions:
+ Performs all aspects of hospital wide performance improvement activities with special focus on coordination of stoke initiatives,
+ The Stroke Coordinator interacts in a collaborative role with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to advance evidence-based practices related to stroke management,
+ Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls clinical and administrative functions for Stroke Management services in accordance with hospital strategic plans,
+ Coordinator is responsible for completion of stroke measures data abstraction for both DNV accreditation and State of NJ primary stroke certification,
+ Participates in hospital wide initiatives in support of performance improvement, regulatory, and accreditation process overall,
+ Investigates high risk occurrences, develops plan of correction accordingly,

$51.00 Min to $59.00 Max Hourly Rate
