Title: Clinical Nutrition Manager

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Clinical Nutrition Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Provides leadership and oversight to the clinical nutrition staff and clinical nutrition program across care settings; manages the nutritional aspects of care for all Roswell Park patients assuring quality care is provided in a timely manner; assures compliance with all regulatory agencies, institute and departmental policies; assesses patients' nutritional status; develops and implements nutrition care plans; supports and promotes the research conducted at Roswell Park. The Clinical Nutrition Manager serves as a key resource in advancing clinical practice, mentoring staff, and aligning clinical nutrition services with organizational goals by advocating for the team as an active contributor to the multi inter-disciplinary team.

Starting annual salary is $86,681. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Certification Requirement
1. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
2. Certified in the State of New York as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.

Education and Experience
1. Master's degree in a related field plus a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Dietetics or Nutrition and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time clinical experience, two (2) years which must have been in oncology or demonstrates sufficient knowledge in clinical nutrition and oncology; or,
2. Bachelor's degree in Clinical Dietetics or Nutrition and the equivalent of seven (7) years of full-time clinical experience, two (2) years which must have been in oncology or demonstrates sufficient knowledge in clinical nutrition and oncology.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in clinical nutrition and management, along with a strong background working in a healthcare setting. They should demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate must possess food safety training and a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance to ensure safe and high-quality service delivery.
