Job Summary

Middle management position with 24-hour responsibility for assigned

patient care areas. The Director will promote profession practice and

coordinate patient care activities in the areas of administration, clinical,

and human resources. This position requires an advanced level of

management expertise as demonstrated through leadership,

departmental functioning and educational preparation.

Riverside Community Hospital, Founded in 1901, is a 478 licensed bed, full-service acute care hospital in the heart of the Inland Empire. Qualifications

Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:

1. Current valid California RN license.

2. Current BCLS certification.

3. Certified Nurse Administrator preferred.

5. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.

6. National RN certification preferred.


Education:

1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

2. Bachelor's degree – BSN required.

3. Master's degree preferred.


Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years experience in medical / surgical health.

2. Minimum of 5 years recent experience in acute care/management.

3. Minimum 3 years experience as a manager with 24-hour

responsibility
