Overview of Job Responsibilities: To support all aspects of RVCC#s mission statement # clientele To deliver mail to and from RVCC facilities, including not limited to Holyoke, Springfield, Chicopee, Easthampton, and Westfield cities. To receive assignments and work orders and to review work orders, priority status, and designated time schedules.# To assist with special projects/programs, as assigned. To assist in requisitioning materials and/or supplies for work to be performed and coordinate delivery of supplies/materials to meet schedules as assigned.# # Schedule: Tuesdays # Fridays 8:30am - 12:30 pm # Job Requirements: Education Level -#High school or trade school graduate, or have a GED Years of Experience -#1-year experience mail courier and or delivery driver in a large facility preferred or related experience Skills/Abilities -#Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read specifications and manufacturers# repair manuals; ability to work without supervision; ability to follow both written and verbal instructions; analytical skills;#familiarity with codes and regulations; normal corrected hearing and vision skills sufficient to meet Department of Transportation requirements for safely driving a motor vehicle and to perform other duties;#ability to handle multiple tasks# # # Licensing -#Current Massachusetts Driver#s License and#having a satisfactory report from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Detailed Driving History Record Other:#Must have a reliable personal vehicle to perform#job duties # Benefits: Mileage reimbursement# Free access to VHS Fitness # Relaxation Center Exclusive Employee Discounts
