RVCC is looking to hire a Program Assistant for our ASE (Adolescent Sexuality Education) Program! We do that through expert and compassionate care, education, community partnerships, fostering innovation, and by inspiring hope in all we touch.# We do that by being good stewards of our resources and providing efficient and cost-effective care for all. # Overview of Job Responsibilities: In collaboration with the Program Manager co-facilitates sexuality education curriculum for adolescent cohorts at schools and community agencies in Holyoke, Chicopee, and Springfield and surrounding communities. Ensures programming is trauma informed, LGBTQ competent, and culturally responsive.# Ensures programming meets requirements set by the DPH.# Assists Program Manager with creating programming and curricula that meet the needs of the community.# Collect, organize, and document all data required by River Valley Counseling Center and the DPH under the direction of the Supervisor. Ensures students receive consent documents to be shown to guardians prior to starting class.# Acts as a member of area coalitions and groups as requested by the Program Manager.# Attends all DPH meetings and providers gatherings as appropriate.# Seeks educational and professional opportunities Provides outreach in the community and finds new places to provide sexuality education under the direction of Program Manager.## # Job Requirements: Education Level - Bachelor#s Degree in relevant subject preferred. Years of Experience - One year experience working with youth in school or community setting required. Experience in sexuality education is preferred.# Skills/Abilities -#Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaker required. A driver#s license and access to reliable transportation are required.# The ability to work a flexible schedule composed of classes scheduled during typical school hours and/or after-school classes at community locations required.
