Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility.  We currently have an opportunity for a Sweeper at our South Sioux City, NE facility.  Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, this position actively participates in daily cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the facility to meet acceptable housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities:

• Apply insecticide according to all Fed., State, and local guidelines including usage and mixing.  Must be licensed.

• Fumigate trailers and railcars.

• Apply crack and crevice treatments and well as exterior pesticide applications.

• Opening up after foggings and fumigations in conjunction with pest management company and EHS supervisor, including weekends.

• Actively participate in pest management thru daily facility inspections and corrective actions.

• Sanitize kiln and coated oats areas according to schedule.

• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.

• Maintain sanitary shed to be clean and organized.

• Maintain sanitary workplace (footbaths, employee entrance foot basin, rugs, mats, etc…).

• Observe GMPs.

• Dispose of waste accordingly.

• Complete and document required HAACP controls and daily tasks.

• Perform all reasonable tasks as assigned to you by supervision.

Qualifications:

• Able to work flexible work schedule and overtime when needed.

• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.

• Must work safely.

• Must be forklift certified.

• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.

• Must be capable of acquiring a Pesticide Applicators License.

• Able to problem solve.

• Able to climb ladders and stairs.
