Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Costing Analyst in our Winnipeg office. The Sales Costing Analyst will play a key role in supporting the sales team by developing quotes and sales contracts, while serving as a central point of communication between internal teams and external clients. This role involves preparing reports, maintaining and updating sales contracts, and ensuring clear, accurate, and timely information flow to support strong client relationships and effective decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and external partners by monitoring and maintaining contract and program details within in-house systems

  • Engage with sales teams, brokers, and clients to respond to pricing requests, program updates, contract inquiries, renewals, and freight-related questions in a timely and professional manner

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop pricing quotes, contracts, and promotional initiatives, ensuring alignment through open communication and shared understanding of cost and margin expectations

  • Build strong working relationships with internal sales managers and external sales brokers to support strategic discussions and contribute to informed business decisions

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to manage customer deductions, providing clarity and communication around sales programs and contract volumes

  • Prepare and share sales reports with stakeholders, clearly communicating insights to support transparency and effective business planning

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Business, or equivalent work experience

  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in an analytical, finance, or business support role

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with an ERP, costing software, and/or Power BI is an asset

  • Demonstrate above average attention to detail, organizational skills and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively across a variety of audiences

  • Experience in the CPG or food service industry also an asset
