Description
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on electrical support in the areas of process controls, resolving common power system electrical issues, and equipment downtime root cause analysis
Complete regular preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment according to established schedules and procedures
Use tools, meters, and technology to troubleshoot facility-specific PLC's, motors, VFDs, and process/support equipment, in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulations
Assist with the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment by running/connecting wires, construction panels/control boxes, and performing other tasks in accordance with the NEC, North Dakota Electrical Codes, and NFPA 70E
Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
3+ years of electrical maintenance experience OR Associate's Degree or higher in electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, instrumentation or controls in lieu of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation
Experience working with 480V systems
