The position of ranch Support Specialist will be based out of Linthicum, MD!
For the state of Maryland only, the salary range is 62-73k, depending upon qualifications, experience and other considerations permitted by law.
Summary
The Branch Support Specialist is responsible for assisting Branch and Area Managers in maintaining the function and growth goals of all branches throughout an assigned territory. Will perform the duties of various positions such as Inside Sales, Driver, Warehouse, and Assistant Management. Will act as a leader in those positions with the skills and authority to make decisions in absence of Branch and Area management.
What You'll Do
- Work with Branch Managers to drive profitability by utilizing company digital tools to maximize all aspects of branch performance
- Set an example and culture of superior customer service through dealing effectively with daily customer service requests. Establish and maintain a relationship with key customers
- Perform all job functions within a branch when required including but not limited to sales, vendor quotations, maintaining branch equipment and vehicles, driving, material handling, order processing
- Greet and assist call-in and walk-in customers with the selection and delivery of products and services, processing orders by quoting product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate
- Assist in timely account reconciliation through completion of PVR, bad debt, and other post sale duties
- Participate in facility and inventory control and maintenance and advise Branch Manager of problems to ensure customer demand is met
- Conduct/oversee inventory control procedures and warehouse housekeeping practices
- Implement branch security and safety standards by conducting facility and asset inspections and taking corrective actions to support controls
- May be required to complete customer deliveries through maintained routes or urgent requirements
- Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need
- High School or GED
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent preferred
- 2+ years experience in an electrical distribution industry or similar B2B industry required
- Leadership experience preferred
- Previous sales, operations, shipping, or receiving experience is a plus
- Valid Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Sales and service oriented, self-motivated, dependable, possess excellent leadership, and customer service skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to share information
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP system such as Solar Eclipse
- Knowledge of electrical products and Rockwell Automation is a plus
- Knowledge of the assigned territory is a plus
