- THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION – PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
- Job Requirements
- CA License
- First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
- BLS
- PALS
- 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)
- Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG
- Schedule Information
- 3x12 variable or straight night
- (4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights – traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule)
- 13 week contracts
- Requested Time Off: Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)
- No Holiday RTO
- Additional Details
- Valid photo ID is required
- Traveler must present on their first day
- Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness
