**Job Title: Sous Chef (Full-Time)**

**Position Overview:**
As the Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations. You will assist in menu development, food preparation, staff training, and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and safety. A successful candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Assisting the Executive Chef:** Support the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen management.

- **Food Preparation:** Oversee and participate in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation.

- **Team Leadership:** Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.

- **Inventory Management:** Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing food products, while minimizing waste and controlling costs.

- **Quality Control:** Monitor food quality and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

- **Menu Innovation:** Contribute creative ideas and insights into menu development, seasonal specials, and food presentations.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.

- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.

- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and culinary techniques.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Passion for food and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of kitchen operations.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
