Description

What You Will Need:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field required.
  • Master of Business Administration or related advanced degree preferred.

 

Experience

  • Twelve or more years of progressively responsible health care finance experience within a hospital or integrated health system.
  • Seven or more years of senior leadership experience, including responsibility for leading other leaders and complex financial functions.
  • Broad experience across accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and forecasting, health care reimbursement, treasury, decision support and operational finance.
  • Experience connecting financial results with clinical and operational drivers and translating analysis into clear recommendations and measurable outcomes.
  • Senior finance leadership experience within a multi-entity health system that includes hospital, medical group and ambulatory operations strongly preferred.
  • Experience with cost accounting, service line profitability, physician compensation, charge integrity or other specialized health care finance functions preferred.
  • Experience presenting complex financial information to executives, physicians, boards or board committees.

 

Licensure and Certifications

    • Certified Public Accountant certification strongly preferred.
    • FHFMA, Certified Treasury Professional, Certified Management Accountant or another relevant professional certification preferred.
