Description

Work in collaboration with the Online Career Services Coordinator (OCSC) and the Online Student Success Manager (OSSM) developing and implementing strategies to service online students in excellence while achieving graduate employment goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct virtual job search workshops that guide and support online active students through topics such as networking, resume, and cover letter writing, job searches, interviewing techniques, and soft skills awareness in coordination with the OSSM and OCSC.
  • Service active online students placed graduates and graduates to be placed, towards optimizing job search activities, including reviewing and revising graduates' portfolios (cover letters, resumes, awards, certifications, transcript, military service acknowledgment, reference letters, etc.) through coaching and advising.
  • Perform and assist with verifications, data collection, and data entry for placement reporting. Monitor graduate placements, track daily activities, and detail results versus goals.
  • Create and maintain placement records and reports in accordance with Standards of Accreditation. 
  • Audit in coordination with the OCSC to ensure that all appropriate career services documents for student records are uploaded into SIS/CRM; such as relevant placement communications/activities in the SIS/CRM.
  • Exercise critical thinking to evaluate processes in coordination with the OCSC to optimize, automate, and revise processes that elevate operational efficiencies. 
  • Assist with attaining strategic plans related to career services, the online campus, and the company as a whole. 
  • Service online students/graduates with the development of support strategies in coordination with department leaders specific to designated programs. Offers advice, recommendations, creative solutions, and guidance to leadership.
  • Create strategies with the OCSC and OSSM regarding the student/graduate experience to achieve optimal compliance outcomes. Assist with process, procedures, and compliance interpretation to achieve compliance standards.
  • Monitor student progress in relation to their expected graduation date. Stay up to date on employment trends related to PMI Online programs.
  • Engage with students, staff, faculty, and alumni in one-on-one and group settings via Zoom, phone, e-mail, SMS and social platforms.
  • Partner with program leadership for data retrieval and survey collection from active students, graduates, and employers. 
  • Perform and assist with Virtual and In-Person commencement planning (within prescribed budgets/vendor estimates), in coordination with the OSSM, OCSC and the commencement committee. 
  • Coordinate in collaboration with the OCSC with planning virtual job fairs, employer webinars, and other events associated across PMI campuses.
  • Create and maintain lists detailing job openings. Assist with maintaining an accurate database of employers and update SIS as needed.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with staff, faculty, and students, helping to contribute to the next generation of healthcare professionals.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in healthcare administration, education, or related field.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in career development within post-secondary education.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the medical field.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products.
  • Equivalency of a combination of training, education, and experience that meets minimum qualifications may be considered.

Preferred  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, education, or related field.
  • Certification in Medical Office Administration/Medical Administrative Assistant or related medical training.
  • Experience with Student Information Systems such as Campus Nexus Student, Banner, and Salesforce.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems such as Blackboard and Canvas.
  • Three (3) years of experience with health education programs.
  • Three (3) years of medical administrative experience or related.
  • Ability to thrive within a hybrid work environment (remote/office combination).
