Position Summary:
This position is responsible for directing a wide array of operational and technical processes for the PTL Security Department. This position is responsible for managing PTL's overall vehicle theft reporting and recovery process; and the defaulted lease reporting and recovery process. Expected outcomes include maximizing profit and minimizing loss through the timely recovery of stolen/missing units; effective use of security-related technical assets and tools; and increased effectiveness and efficiency of the department through predictive analysis of theft/loss trends.
Major Responsibilities:
• Oversight of PTL's & PL's Vehicle Theft reporting and recovery process and Security Operations Specialists work.
• Administration of overall SOPs and processes for the Corporate Security Department
• Administration & execution of the Departments training program for Associates.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required
• Minimum three years corporate security experience. Preferred experience as Senior Security Operations Specialist but not required
• Advanced – Knowledge of Penske systems
• Intermediate – Coordination with Law Enforcement
• Intermediate – Project Management
• Intermediate – Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Intermediate – Investigations
• Knowledge of RentalNet, ServiceNet and AS400
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Ability to conduct complex research
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
