Responsibilities + Duties:
- Deliver uncommon hospitality and excellent customer experience by greeting, engaging and guiding guests through menu options.
- Place orders for guests using POS systems. Menu knowledge is required.
- Create positive first impressions that build loyalty in return guests
- Knowledgeable about current promotions and menu items
- Support quick table turns along with great safety and sanitation practices while bussing and cleaning tables throughout the shift
- Answer phones, take orders and deliver exceptional service during potential to-go shifts
Qualifications + Skills:
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule with overtime based on the restaurant's business needs and operational requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
- Must have a courteous, energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
Host Pay Range: $16 - $20 / Hour

ADA Statement:
While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
