Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Patient Watch Guards: The SPM will be responsible for overseeing all patient watch guards, which includes full-time, part-time, and casual employees.
- Training: The SPM will conduct or coordinate the 8-hour training program for newly onboarded patient watch guards, ensuring they are knowledgeable in procedures, regulations, and patient care standards required for patient watch duties.
- Supervision & Support: The SPM will provide daily management and support to all patient watch guards, ensuring proper scheduling, compliance with security protocols, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Coordination with Other Operational Stakeholders: The SPM will liaise with other divisions of the security team including Operations, CSM's, PRC's and scheduling to ensure seamless operations, particularly when extra coverage or specific protocols are required for specific high profile properties
- Oversight of Extra Coverage: The SPM will oversee the extra coverage shifts dedicated to patient watch duties, which will be separated into two divisions: Regular Extra Coverage and Patient Watch Extra Coverage.
- Extensive experience in security management, with a focus on healthcare or patient care settings.
- Experience in training staff, creating and managing training programs.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient privacy laws
