Position: Full-Time Security Guard
Site Address: 71155 Bluewater Hwy, Grand Bend, ON N0M 1N0
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Hours: Continental Rotation - 0700-1900/1900-0700
Payrate: $ 22.74/hour
Posting Date: 3/31/2026
Internal Closing Date: 4/6/2026
External Closing Date: 4/12/2026
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct plant patrols inside and out (weekday day shift 1 per day, weekends and night 4 per shift)
- Report and Security or Safet issue (lighting, exit signs, door issues)
- Visitors sign in and out sheets
- Sign out temp visitor's cards or keys and log numbers
- Monitor all door alarms
- Access control
- Monitor cameras
- Ensure all doors/windows are secure
- Monitor gate access
- Stand by for deliveries
- Monitor weather
- Complete notebook entries per shift
- Log/pass on book
- Investigate and suspicious activity
- Incident reports completed
Prerequisites:
- Security License
- Computer knowledge
- Experience in access control, closed circuit television, and incident reporting
- Customer service skills
- First Aid and CPR Level C with AED

Certification Requirements (All) First Aid, CPR Level C
