Job Duties:

· Provide security services at the CF Courtright Complex, maintaining order and the protection of assets, information, and employees onsite.

· Maintain a professional relationship with all personnel entering the site.

· Administrative and reception duties; forward incoming calls to the appropriate department or personnel.

· Responsible for product inbound and outbound truck scaling and shipping; Scaling transport trucks and other various trucks. Providing bills of lading and custom documents when required.

· Scale and record all waste management shipments i.e. garbage, recycling trucks.

· Scale and record all Inbound bulk product shipments and complete documentation as required

· Responsible for communicating with the areas prior to scaling in a truck

· Responsible for site alarms; Emergency alarms and access system alarms i.e. data room alarm, lab alarms, heat sensor alarms etc.

· Responsible for the daily testing of the site alarm system and/or site PA system; conducted at 12:30 hours and 21:00 hours. (Site Alarm System and muster readers tested each Monday at 12:30 hours).

· Responsible for the daily test of the CAER radio; 07:00 hours.

· Responsible to monitor and communicate severe weather following provided weather applications and made announcements when required to do so.

· Responsible to send overtime meals via fax and call and confirm the order(s). Upon arrival t the site communicate arrival to area for pick up.

· Assist in front counter duties for break and lunch periods.

· Greet visitors and communicate with the appropriate location personnel upon their arrival.

· Responsible for site access control; issues site access cards and photo IDs as per the site Access Management Program. Ensure profiles are current and

up to date information is complete. Complete proper documentation as required. Report any security breaches involving the program.

· Responsible to conduct site Safety Orientation video for approved individuals prior to entry to site or annual renewals. Assist EHSQ with Contractor Management Program.

· Work with EHSQ to ensure contractor companies onsite are in compliance with insurance and WSIB requirement in ISNetworld.

· Assist with the signing out and issuance of keys onsite i.e, office, perimeter or vehicle keys.

· Assist with the issuance of vehicle passes onsite (issued to those who do not have company markings).

· Responsible for Material/ Gate/ Scrap/ Personal passes onsite. Must review the pass for appropriate signatures, inspect the item(s) and sign the pass to allow item(s) to leave the Courtright location.

· Complete an electronic guard shift report per shift.

Qualifications:

· Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.

· Must possess a valid Ontario Driver's License with current drivers' abstract report in clear status.

· Must possess a valid First Aid training certificate.

· Must possess a valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods training certificate.

· Completion of Law and Security or equivalent considered an asset.
