Summary:

Accomplish the Family Services Department objectives by providing program support to the Yon^haliyo (Domestic Abuse) Program to include intake services, grant management and administrative support.


Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service at all times to include but not limited to, addressing customer and employee needs courteously and promptly
* Accurately prepares and submits required reports, budgets and plans as required.
* Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
* Ensure the maintenance of confidential client records; ensuring pertinent, accurate, and current information.
* Attend staff meetings as needed/required
* Interfaces with technical staff and users to maintain and implement the website(s) or web pages.
* Maintain strict department and data security, confidentiality, and quality to meet professional standards of programs and grants.
* Participate, collaborate and maintain working relationships with various internal and external programs.

* Create and type memos as needed/required.
* Practice excellent customer service skills at all times to include, but not limited to addressing customer and employee needs courteously and promptly (Customer service provided shall be in line with the organizations "Good Mind" core values)
* Ensure community awareness of programs through organized meetings, educational forums, community events, publications, circulars, newsletters, bulletins, memorandums and other appropriate media.

Skills:

Essential:
* Knowledge of department organization, functions, objectives, policies, and procedures
* Operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other law enforcement/regulatory agencies, departmental staff, tribal officials, and the public
* Obtain additional education and training
* Inform and communicate verbally and in writing in diverse and challenging situations with the ability to process information effectively, identify and define problems and make objective decisions
* Knowledge of available community resources
* Knowledge of the Oneida community, history, and culture
* Analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions, and implementing recommendations
* Ability to make solid decisions and exercise independent judgment
* Knowledge of applicable Oneida Nation, federal, state, county and local laws, regulations, and requirements
* Ability to work as a team member to provide services to children

Education Requirement - Or A Closely Related Field:

Essential:
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Services
* Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology
* Bachelor's Degree in Social Work

* Child Abuse Reporting Policy (CARP) Training (Hrd)
* Driver's License Personal & Tribal Vehicle

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
