Shift Differential:
Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) + $1.00 per hour worked
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am + $3.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4am to 4pm) + $2.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4pm to 4am) + $3.00 per hour worked
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am + $2.00 per hour worked
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of Gaming buildings to include grounds keeping. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Complete daily work logs regarding time, date, materials used using computers and hand held electronic devices.
- Ability to operate and maintain tools, lifts, and equipment.
- Establish and maintain an inventory of maintenance equipment and supplies.
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Deliver/assemble materials, furniture, and equipment as needed.
- Complete projects to include building repairs, painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC or electrical projects.
- Maintain Gaming facilities exterior, roof and grounds.
- Complete grounds keeping, grass cutting, weed eating, landscaping, garbage removal, cleaning of ramp, entrances and lots.
- Remove snow from Gaming Division parking lots and sidewalks.
- Maintain strict departmental security, confidentiality, and quality to meet professional standards of the department.
- Adhere to all Tribal Personnel Policies and Procedures, Tribal Standard Operating Procedures, and Area and Program Strategic Plans and Policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- A valid driver's license and eligible to operate a Tribal Vehicle under the Oneida Nation's Vehicle Driver Certification and Fleet Management Law.
Maintenance Technician I - Grade 4 ($16.88 - $23.63)
- Entry-level support role. Performs routine production / manual tasks as directed and under close supervision.
- PREFERRED: Perform general maintenance and repairs including light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and moving furniture and equipment.
- High School Diploma, HSED Diploma or GED Certification; applicants age fifty (50) and older are exempt from this requirement.
- Mid-level support role. Performs semi-skilled maintenance work in one or more trades. Completes routine production / manual tasks under moderate supervision.
- Performs semi-skilled maintenance activities on building facilities and equipment. In addition, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures. Paints structures, performs masonry work, and repairs plumbing fixtures and woodwork. Maintains and installs fixtures and outlets.
- Ensures tools and equipment are maintained and repaired. Assists with higher-level technicians.
- High School Diploma, HSED Diploma or GED Certification; applicants age fifty (50) and older are exempt from this requirement.
- Work experience in one or more trades such as Electrical, HVAC, Masonry, Mechanical or Plumbing.
Maintenance Technician III - Grade 12 ($21.55 - $33.40)
- Senior-level support role. Performs moderately difficult work in one or more trades. Possesses advanced knowledge of mechanical and facilities repair and maintenance. Completes production/manual tasks with little supervision.
- Performs skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. Repairs, alters, and maintains a variety of tools and equipment. Will assist less-experienced team members. Works with Facilities staff in identifying maintenance concerns and troubleshoots a variety of issues. May collaborate with building management towards the renovation and improvement of facilities. Will train employees as necessary.
- High School Diploma, HSED Diploma or GED Certification; applicants age fifty (50) and older are exempt from this requirement.
- Certification in HVAC, Carpentry, Locksmith or a specialized trade. Work experience with carpentry, electricity, plumbing and HVAC systems.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend and lift and/or carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Lift up to one hundred (100) pounds with assistance.
- Work in a lift that will require working at heights up to fifty (50) feet.
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in various temperatures. Exposure to natural weather conditions.
- Stand and walk on uneven surfaces or unstable grounds.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include evenings and weekends and holidays.
- Work environment may NOT be smoke, noise or dust free.
- A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
