  • Provide emergency room care for patients experiencing early pregnancy complications.

High-Risk Patient Supervision:
  • Supervise and deliver care for high-risk patients, with 24-hour consultation support from Maternal Fetal Medicine faculty.
  • Collaborate with General Ob/Gyn physicians for primary management of laboring patients, unless otherwise arranged with Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Quality and Safety:
  • Maintain the highest standards of evidence-based obstetric care.
  • Attend to departmental and unit quality and safety goals, including achieving low primary cesarean delivery rates, low episiotomy rates, and prompt recognition and escalation of clinical safety concerns.

Operational Workflows and HRO:
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to enhance operational workflows for patient care.
  • Facilitate a High-Reliability Organization (HRO) by exhibiting professionalism for patients, colleagues, and staff.

Committee Participation:
  • Participate in committees and meetings related to departmental growth, resident education, and quality initiatives, as requested.
Educational and Research Contributions:
  • Contribute to the educational and research goals of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Salary:
