At NorthBay Health, the Manager of Social Services works collaboratively with the Director of Care Management. This role is responsible for managing Hospital, and Population Health Social Services staff, budgets, equipment and other resources. This individual directly coordinates personnel activities such as hiring, conducting disciplinary action, training and staff scheduling.  Assists in assuring compliance with standard practices and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

  1. Education:  Master's degree is Social Work from school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education is required. 
  2. Licensure/Certification:  State of California, Board of Behavioral Science, LCSW required.
  3. Experience
  • Five years of related experience in area of responsibility. 
  • Four years of demonstrated progressive management experience with 

      increasing scope of responsibility. 

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements. 
  • Familiarity with California Hospital Association recommendations regarding Consent.    
  1. Skills:
  • Demonstrated initiative, follow through and ability to work independently. 
  • Demonstrated results-oriented management
  • Demonstrated effective project management skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to deal with job-related stress, multiple projects and deadlines. 
  • Advanced computer skills (spreadsheets, graphs, tables and reports).

Compensation

  • $142k - $152k annually plus 
  • Bonus eligible optimum achievement is up to 15% of qualified annualized salary
