Pay Range: $86,260 - 138,906 annually (based on experience and location)    Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle   The Lead Automation Developer serves as the technical lead for NFM's Enterprise Automation & AI initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing complex automation solutions utilizing platforms such as UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel VBA, and .NET/Azure integrations. The Lead Automation Developer provides hands-on leadership, establishes reusable frameworks, ensures best practice adherence, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable automation solutions. This position is central to building internal automation capabilities, supporting knowledge transfer from implementation partners, and enabling NFM's long-term self-sufficiency in Automation & AI. This position requires the candidate to reside in NE, IA, KS, MO, or TX.  Final candidates will be required to come on-site prior to receiving an offer or on their first day of employment.   Job Duties: A Day in the Life   Manage: Lead and oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions using UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA, and supporting technologies Interpret: Translate business and technical requirements into scalable automation architectures and workflow designs Create: Establish and maintain Center of Excellence (CoE's) development standards, reusable components, and framework templates to drive consistency and reduce build time Monitor: Ensure proper configuration of UiPath Orchestrator assets (queues, triggers, assets, schedules) and Power Platform environment Assess: Perform code reviews and enforce development standards across all automation platforms Govern: Oversee platform governance by managing source control practices, branching strategy, and CI/CD pipelines to support stable, scalable automation delivery Mentor: Coach and support Automation Developers through training, design guidance, and pair-programming to strengthen internal capability and enable long-term self-sufficiency Evaluate: Provide technical guidance during intake by assessing feasibility, system complexity, and solution fit in partnership with Business Analysts and Process Consultant Team Up: Work with Integration Developers to design and implement REST APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or event-driven approaches for end-to-end automation Integrate AI capabilities into automation using Azure AI, Azure Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer) and ChatGPT Enterprise     Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that's what we love.   Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?   Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 7 years of experience in automation development using UiPath and Power Automate Hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise automation solutions integrating multiple systems Skilled in .NET, REST APIs, Azure Functions, or similar integration technologies preferred Experience with AI or intelligent document-processing technologies is a plus. UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification (or UiPath Professional certification) strongly preferred Experience automating processes on mainframe systems is a significant plus Ability to lead multiple concurrent automation projects Demonstrated ability to connect business needs with technical automation capabilities Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the USA on a full-time basis.
